Edge Hill Station (エッジヒル駅 Ejji Hiru-eki) is a railway station located at Tunnel Road at Edge Hill district in Liverpool in England in the United Kingdom. It is the first railway station before arrival to or after departure from Lime Street Station.

Edge Hill's exterior is composed of two island platforms, each with an original building dating back to the station's opening, in a mild classical style of architecture, made out of pink sandstone ashlar, with deep horizontal incised rustication.

Background[]
Built as part of the Liverpool & Manchester Railway, it opened in 1836, replacing the previous Edge Hill station just a short distance south-west that had been in operation since 1830. In the present day, it is part of the City Line on the Merseyrail network.

In the anime, the train that had departed from London and was bound for Liverpool that Raishin and Yaya had boarded passed through Edge Hill without a hint of stopping as its brakes had failed.

- Edge Hill is one of the oldest working railway stations in England, still open after 186 years as of 2022.
- Whilst Edge Hill was thought to be the single oldest station in the world, due to the original 1830 station being demolished, Broad Green, another station on the Liverpool & Manchester Railway is actually the oldest, standing at 192 years old as of 2022.
- Unlike most stations on the Merseyrail network, which are open seven days a week, Edge Hill is closed on Sundays.
