The Unbreakable Machine-Doll anime series is an anime adaptation from the Unbreakable Machine-Doll light novel series written by Reiji Kaitou and illustrated by Ruroo. It was produced by Lerche studio, directed by Kinji Yoshimoto and written by Yuuko Kakihara and its character design by Atsuko Watanabe and music by Masaru Yokoyama. The anime series is composed of twelve episodes and was originally aired from October 7, 2013 to December 23, 2013 on the television channels, AT-X, Tokyo MX, ytv, TVA and BS11, and on the websites, Nico Nico live, Nico Nico channel, Bandai channel and DoCoMo Anime Store, in Japan and was re-aired from May 31, 2014 to July 5, 2014 on the television network, AT-X, in Japan. It was released into six Blu-ray and DVDs, each bundled with an OVA, from December 29, 2013 to May 28, 2014.

Raishin Akabane, a puppeteer from Japan, together with his automaton, Yaya, travelled to Liverpool in United Kingdom and entered the Royal Academy of Machinart to join the Night Party. After failing to qualify into the Night Party through the Academy's transfer admission test, he then finds another way to; by defeating a qualifier of the Night Party. Raishin targets Charlotte Belew but their uncommenced battle gets interrupted. Later, he then tries to befriend her, leading for him to abruptly encounter the object of his revenge; Magnus.― All as an elusive assailant continues its furore in the Academy.
2 Facing "Cannibal Candy" Ⅱ October 14, 2013
After Raishin Akabane's brief encounter with Magnus, he is later offered by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Felix Kingsfort, a chance to qualify into the Night Party though in exchange for his assistance in hunting and defeating the elusive assailant; Cannibal Candy. Due to this, Charlotte Belew asks Raishin on a date as a feign to make him help her search for Cannibal Candy, but Raishin instead took her on a proper date out into the city to clear his suspicion of her possibly being Cannibal Candy. After, as he and Charlotte then walked back to the Academy, they suddenly notice a commotion happening inside it.

The anime series' music is composed of its opening theme song, Anicca, which was sung by Hitomi Harada, its ending theme song, Maware! Setsugetsuka, which was sung by Utagumi Setsugetsuka, and its fifty complete soundtracks.
